Intimate Scents uses only the finest and purest ingredients available to make this line of products.

Our candles and wax melts are only made using 100% Soybean Wax and are only enhanced with botanical, essential or designer-type fragrance oils.  We do not add unnatural ingredients to enhance the elements which were so wonderfully and perfectly created by nature!

We use only cotton wicks coated with soy wax and our wicks do not contain lead.  These wicks are able to consume viscous materials without clogging or drowning.  They are made with a controlled braided tension and they burn standing straight with only a slight bend or curl at the very tip.  They are known for having a consistent quality and maintaining a predictable  flame height.

We only make "container" candles because: 1) we believe this reduces the risk of accidental fire because the candle is self-contained; and 2)  we make our candles in reusable tin, or decorative glass/ceramic containers to reduce waste.  Also, this provides you with something you can actually use after you have exhausted your candle.  Of course, we also encourage you to recycle used containers.

Soy Wax Candle Benefits

   The majority of all candles are made with paraffin wax, a petroleum based

by-product of refined gasoline. Studies have shown that carcinogens released by

paraffin wax candles are as dangerous as second-hand cigarette smoke and can cause

 harm to the heart, lungs, circulatory system, and nervous system. This is not only a

health concern, but also an environmental concern. Paraffin wax candles, release

carcinogens into the atmosphere when burned similar to that of gasoline

being burned by an automobile.

Our candles are made with 100% all natural soybean wax enhanced

with botanical, essential, or designer-type fragrance oils and have the following

advantages over paraffin wax candles.
